Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal Policy for Journal of al-anfal

1. Introduction

The Journal of al-anfal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publishing excellence. This withdrawal policy outlines the process for authors who wish to withdraw their submitted manuscripts before or after a decision has been reached.

2. Grounds for Withdrawal

Authors may withdraw their manuscript for the following reasons:

  • Discovery of errors or flaws: If authors identify significant errors or flaws in their work after submission, they may choose to withdraw the manuscript to improve it before resubmitting.
  • Ethical concerns: If the research raises ethical concerns or if authors discover plagiarism or other forms of misconduct, they may choose to withdraw the manuscript.
  • Change in authorship: If there are changes to the authorship, such as the addition or removal of authors, a withdrawal and resubmission may be necessary to ensure proper author attribution.
  • Duplicate submission: If the manuscript has been inadvertently submitted to multiple journals, the author should withdraw the duplicate submission from Journal of al-anfal.
  • Funding issues: If authors lose funding or encounter unexpected circumstances that prevent them from completing the research, they may withdraw the manuscript.

3. Withdrawal Before Decision

Authors may withdraw their manuscript before a decision has been reached by contacting the editorial office via email.

  • The withdrawal request should be submitted by the corresponding author and specify the reason for withdrawal.
  • The manuscript will be removed from the review process, and no further action will be taken.
  • Authors are welcome to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript at a later date.

4. Withdrawal After Decision

  • Before publication: If the manuscript has been accepted for publication but not yet published, authors may withdraw the manuscript by contacting the editorial office via email.

  • The withdrawal request should be submitted by the corresponding author and specify the reason for withdrawal.

  • The journal reserves the right to include the manuscript title and authors in its publication records to maintain transparency.

  • Authors may be responsible for any costs incurred by the journal up to the point of withdrawal.

  • After publication: Once a manuscript has been published, it cannot be withdrawn from the journal's archive. However, authors may request a correction or retraction if they discover errors or ethical concerns after publication.

5. Consequences of Withdrawal

Withdrawal of a manuscript does not prevent authors from submitting the same or a similar manuscript to another journal. However, if the withdrawal is due to ethical concerns or plagiarism, the journal may share information about the withdrawal with other editors to protect the integrity of the publication process.
